Details

A statue of the incomparable Buddhist master Tulku Drakpa Gyaltsen, carved from camphor wood and finished with an antique stain and traditional gold face hand-painted by master artists trained in the Tibetan tradition. This one-of-a-kind statue will take pride of place on any altar or shrine.

This stunning statue is part of H.E. the 25th Tsem Rinpoche's personal collection of blessed images and is imbued with the blessings of his extensive prayers and practices, altruistic mind, enlightened activities and attainments of Compassion and Wisdom.

The personal items of attained masters are invaluable and auspicious for the special energies of the holy person imbued within. Buddhists believe that such items are an extension of the holy being’s body and akin to having the holy master’s blessings and protection present at all times.

Furthermore, images of the lineage lamas are an important element on one’s altar or shrine to invoke their blessings for one’s spiritual practice. This is especially auspicious for those wishing to spread the Buddhist teachings or for those engaging in or aspiring to advance to higher tantric practices.

Tulku Drakpa Gyaltsen was a contemporary of H.H. the 5th Dalai Lama and an outstanding student of H.H. the 4th Panchen Lama. His reputation as a great teacher drew students from all walks of life and from far and wide, and he rose to a position of great respect and acclaim. Tulku Drakpa Gyaltsen's life and previous incarnations were nothing short of extraordinary but his most memorable and greatest deed was arising as the World Peace Protector Dorje Shugden to protect Lama Tsongkhapa’s precious teachings for the benefit of future generations.

Making offerings to his holy representation creates the causes for a close connection with one's teacher and lineage, thus spurring on one's spiritual growth. His holy image also plants the seeds of liberation in our minds and bestows incredible blessings.
