Within the Tibetan tantric system of protection, ruels are supreme when all else has failed. Containing more than 90 ingredients, they were traditionally made once every 10 years.

Our Setrap Protection Ruel Pendants are handmade by the monks of Gaden Monastery. Upon completion, the fierce, protective energy of Buddha Amitabha's wrathful form is sealed within the ruels through three consecutive nights of prayers and rituals performed by the most senior members of the monastic community.

It is extremely effective for all-round protection against persistent harm caused by spirits, black magic, curses and negativities.

Setrap is the wrathful emanation of Amitabha Buddha and the main Dharma Protector of Gaden Monastery founded by Lama Tsongkhapa 600 years ago. Fierce yet deeply compassionate, he grants powerful protection against negative energies, spirit disturbances and black magic, and provides swift assistance to overcome our worldly and spiritual obstacles. His practice also brings success, harmony and peace to anyone who invokes his blessings.
