About Manjushri

Manjushri is the embodiment of the wisdom of all the Buddhas. In ancient times, he manifested as a disciple of Buddha Shakyamuni and is one of the most prominent figures in the Mahayana Sutras.

In the monasteries, his image is commonly found in libraries and study rooms as his practice is the most effective to deepen our understanding of the Dharma. He is very beneficial for children, for students of all levels, for individuals in the education and communication industries, and for anyone who seeks greater wisdom. Through his blessings, greater understanding, improved memory, better communication skills, insight, clarity, and the development of your mind are just a step away.

Manjushri is depicted brandishing a sword in his right hand, cutting away our ignorance and negative states of mind which form the basis of all our suffering. In his left hand is a magnificent blue lotus flower, on which rests the Great Wisdom Sutra.
