Inspired by The Awakened One’s path to Enlightenment, this stunning mala bracelet features polished Petrified Wood beads and twin antique pewter Buddha heads. Blessed by the Dharma Protector of Kechara during trance in the monastery, this stylish piece bestows protection from harm and negative energies.

  • Petrified Wood, once an ancient, living, breathing tree, is an extremely grounding and protective stone. It is known to encourage emotional well-being and stability, and restores physical energy levels. Petrified Wood is also said to be the stone for business success.
  • Buddha Heads are a reminder of our ultimate goal — Buddhahood, and how we too should emulate Prince Siddhartha’s qualities as he persevered in his quest for enlightenment.

About Blessed Mala Bracelets

Blessed mala bracelets have been consecrated by the Protector Dorje Shugden in full trance of a highly qualified oracle. One such oracle is His Eminence the 7th Panglung Kuten, also known as Venerable Chojila.

Bracelets blessed by the Protector are imbued with Dorje Shugden’s direct blessings, energy and presence. These precious bracelets are highly treasured, as trances are extremely rare occasions even in the monasteries.

When we use a blessed mala bracelet, it unlocks our karmic potential and opens the seeds of enlightenment in our mindstream, enabling us to realise the full benefit of our practices and achieve attainments swiftly.

Blessed mala bracelets can be worn around the wrist for a continuous supply of positive energy and protection from harm and spirit disturbances. It can be placed on the head of an individual disturbed by negative energies for blessings and protection. It can also be placed on the head of a dying person to help them pass on peacefully.

Using a mala bracelet for chanting

  • Hold the mala bracelet at the level of your heart.
  • You can use either hand to hold the mala bracelet. Traditionally, the left hand is used for Mother Tantras and the right hand is used for Father Tantras.
  • Pull each mala bead towards you as you chant. Use one bead to count one mantra.
  • The mala bracelet can rest on any finger. Each finger represents a different aspect of enlightened activity — index finger (pacification), middle finger (growth), ring finger (control), little finger (wrath).
  • Blow on your mala bracelet to bless it after completing the mantra recitation session.
  • You can also recite the Blessing the Rosary mantra OM RUCHIRA MANI PRAVARTAYA HUM seven times then blow on your mala bracelet before starting the prayer session. This increases the power of the mantras you recite 1,000,000 times.

Tips for effective mantra chanting

  • Chant loud enough for you to hear yourself.
  • Whispering is okay but silent chanting is not.
  • Chant softly so you don’t disturb others around you.
  • Don’t chant too fast. Enunciate each syllable, don’t rush or stumble.
  • Don’t chant mindlessly. Focus on the visualisation or the sound of the mantra.
  • We use jewellery-grade, high-quality, strong stretch elastic. To preserve the life of your elastic, we recommend rolling these bracelets on and off, rather than stretching them. This ensures you get many more years of wear and enjoyment from your handmade bracelet.
