With a body that is blood-red in colour, Wangze holds a taming vajra hook tied with red silks in his right hand and a jeweled noose in his left, symbolic of his ability to bind our negativities that cause suffering and subjugate negative situations. Adorned with red silk garments, he smiles flirtatiously in a wrathful manner and rides upon a turquoise dragon, a mythical creature symbolic of power, strength and all that is auspicious.
This Wangze statue can be personalised with traditional mantra insertion or a hand-painted face, using real gold dust. One can also offer traditional brocade garments, pearls and semi-precious stones, as H.E. Tsem Rinpoche always encourages the practice of making offerings to the Three Jewels, which creates the causes for us to attain the six paramitas (perfections).
Made by Kechara under the auspices of its founder and spiritual guide, H.E. the 25th Tsem Rinpoche.
