Rinchen Mangjor Chenmo is particularly helpful for gastro-intestinal ailments such as heartburn, acid reflux, ulcers, loss of appetite and bloody diarrhea; all kinds of poisoning, fevers, water retention, contagious and epidemic diseases, and blockages of qi channels. For healthy individuals, it rejuvenates the body, strengthens nerves and bones, prevents diseases and has aphrodisiac properties.
Rinchen rilbu are a special and significant traditional medical formulation based on the healing practices of Tibetan Medicine which are over 1200 years old. Knowledge of the precious ingredients and complex methodology have been preserved within the monasteries of India, where these rilbu continue to be handmade today in strict accordance with scriptural tradition. Rinchen Mangjor Chenmo is also blessed and consecrated with Medicine Buddha prayers and rituals, imbuing it with Medicine Buddha’s healing energies.
Rinchen Mangjor Chenmo can be consumed according to the Tibetan medical system, inserted in statues or stupas, or placed on the altar as an offering of medicine to create very strong causes for healing and recovery. Best stored in a dark, dry, cool place.
Directions for Use
- Place the pill in a small amount of hot water and leave to stand overnight. Do not expose to bright light.
- Early the next morning before sunrise, crush and stir the contents with a spoon or your ring finger then drink the mixture. You may add more hot water if desired.
- Return to bed and sleep for at least an hour. Keep warm to induce perspiration.
- Upon waking, consume a small quantity of hot saffron-infused water to prolong the healing effects.
- In urgent situations, the pill can simply be consumed with hot water without following the steps above.
- If used as a preventative, consume on auspicious days (according to the Tibetan calendar) for optimum results.
- It is highly recommended to avoid 'black foods' (meat, fish, eggs, garlic, onions, radishes), alcohol, spicy or fermented foods, cold baths and strenuous activities for three to seven days after consuming the pill.
Rinchen Mangjor Chenmo can help prevent infection from contagious and epidemic diseases. If used for this purpose, place one pill in your mouth before going to crowded or contagious areas where you might be exposed to infection, and suck on it slowly like candy. If you do not have ample supplies of Rinchen Mangjor Chenmo or if you are not going out for long, you can use half or quarter of a pill instead. Opened and unused pills should be kept away from bright light, preferably in a light-proof container.
Rinchen Mangjor Chenmo is a proactive and protective health measure. It does not replace health and safety measures such as wearing protective face coverings and maintaining social distance.
