The deep bowl of this urn-shaped incense burner is suitable for all types of incense, and is raised off the ground for protection against overheating and fire. A removable lid enables convenient access and easy cleaning, while carvings mask ventilation openings that enable the incense burner to be used covered or open.

The interior is lined with a fireproof cotton bed for additional safety and to prevent heat damage to the base. Includes an incense holder accessory for slim and ultra slim incense sticks.

Directions for Use

• Partially fill a new incense burner with a thin layer of ash or sand (or use a fireproof cotton bed). Light your favourite incense stick, coil or cone, and place it directly on the bed of ash. You can also sprinkle a small quantity of loose or powder incense over the lit incense.


• Or use in combination with the incense holder to catch the ash from your favourite incense sticks.


• Alternatively, fill an empty incense burner with loose or powder incense. Light with a flame until it glows gently.


• If you are using thick incense sticks or coils, leave the incense burner uncovered for efficient burning.


• Remove the ash build-up regularly to ensure the burning incense does not come into close proximity with the lid of the burner, thus preventing heat damage.


• Replace the fireproof cotton bed when it shows signs of wear and tear.


• Always burn incense in moderate quantities to prevent overheating.


• Do not handle the incense burner when hot.
