A stunning oxidised-finish copper statue of the healing female Buddha, White Tara, exquisitely hand-carved with full iconographic detail according to traditional scriptural sources. White Tara is supremely peaceful and meditative and is often praised as the Mother of All Buddhas. The white colour of her body represents purity, wisdom and truth. She sits in the meditative posture and has eyes of watchful compassion on her forehead, the palms of her hands and the soles of her feet. Her right hand is in the mudra (gesture) of unconditional giving while her left hand holds a blue utpala flower.

White Tara is famous for granting long life and for averting life-threatening situations. Her practice helps quell anger, hatred and jealousy, and reduce miserliness, desire and attachment. She is especially beneficial for those who are older or who need healing.
