Originating in India, the tradition of wealth vases arrived in Tibet over 1,000 years ago. The ancient Saint Padmasambhava gave specific instructions for creating wealth vases, which represent the Wealth Buddhas. Since then, Tibetans have kept wealth vases in their homes, on the altar and even buried in the ground. These days, wealth vases are also kept in offices and places of business for growth and prosperity.
This authentic White Dzambala wealth vase is handmade by the monks of Gaden Monastery according to specific scriptural instructions. White Dzambala’s blessings bring material prosperity and help us overcome financial challenges. His practice also brings spiritual wealth, develops the mind of compassion and helps us overcome emotional poverty: miserliness, greed and the inability to give or share.
The wealth vase is filled with precious items such as relics from high lamas, representations of the Wealth Buddhas, holy items, precious and semi-precious gems, mantra scrolls, various auspicious substances, medicinal herbs, traditional incense, and the five natural elements including earth, gold and silver. Prayers are continuously recited while the wealth vase is filled. Upon completion, a 3-day Yangdup ceremony is conducted to invoke and seal the energies of the Wealth Buddhas within.
The exterior is hand-painted with symbols of wealth as an offering to the wealth deity. The wealth vase can be further personalised with pearl decorations or other precious items as an offering to the Buddhas and to enhance its positive energies.
