Queen of the Dakinis and consort of Heruka Chakrasamvara, Vajrayogini is the female Buddha of wisdom and great bliss. She is the representation of complete Buddhahood in female form and her practices are associated with the Chakrasamvara Cycle of Anuttarayoga Tantra.
Vajrayogini holds a vajra chopper in her right hand and a skull-cup upraised in the left. Resting in the crook of her left elbow is a khatvanga staff. Naked and adorned with a tiara of five human skulls, she wears a necklace of fifty dry skulls. She stands with her two feet placed on the bodies of her own emanations, representing contaminated desire, hatred and ignorance. Her trampling on them symbolizes that by her practice, we are able to destroy those negative qualities within us and transform ourselves into qualities that benefit others. It also represents her ability to purify our past negative actions and protect us from life's obstacles.
Vajrayogini's fire puja is a very elaborate ritual during which many traditional substances are thrown into a fire and burnt, representing the removal and pacification of obstacles and problems that one is facing. This puja grants health, fulfills wishes and accumulates great merits for spiritual realizations and attainments. Vajrayogini's fire puja also calms our immediate environment, grants protection and aids in the transformation of one's mind and purification of past negative actions.
*Puja costs are determined by the type and size of the pujas, the extent of offerings required, token monetary offerings for the puja practitioners, and to cover the running costs of the monastery/temple.

My grandma passed away earlier this year, and the staff at Kechara really helped me tremendously during this difficult period by answering so many of my questions and providing support. I was anxious to help my Grandma, but I was not familiar with what could be done. The staff recommended the Lama Chopa Puja and the Dorje Shugden Puja. I also decided on a Medicine Buddha Puja for her as well. I noticed the Vajrayogini Fire Puja on the website and asked the staff if this puja would be suitable for her as well since the description says "Helps the deceased to take a good rebirth" and "Creates a connection with one of the highest tantric Buddhas". The staff advised me that it would be beneficial to my Grandma and I decided on getting this puja for her to create a connection with Vajrayogini. The staff, being very considerate, then advised me that since it is an elaborate ritual it is done at the Monastery, so it may not be done in time before the 49th day. I thought about it, and understanding the precious nature of Vajrayogini, I still went ahead with the puja. Later I was informed that the puja was indeed done before the 49th day! Because of Kechara and VajraSecrets I was able to feel so much relief in being able to help my Grandma by providing precious prayers for her.
