Description

Details

This Tibetan-style mala (prayer beads or Buddhist rosary) is handmade from 108 Tiger Ebony Wood beads with black onyx spacers at the 21st position and a 925 sterling silver BAM charm at the 54th position. BAM is the seed syllable of the Tantric Buddha Vajrayogini, representing her enlightened speech. An adjustable macrame knot completes the design.

Each bead has been carefully selected for its significance and symbology.

  • Tiger Ebony Wood is derived from a tree native to the Philippines. This dense, exotic-looking wood is believed to ward off negative energies. It is also known to possess grounding properties.

  • Black Onyx is primarily associated with the Root Chakra and is valued for its protective and stabilising qualities through life's challenges. This stone can also be used to help overcome bad habits and promote vigour & stamina.
