Any Dharma item, from scriptures to ritual implements, should be handled with care and respect, and never placed on an unclean surface. This not only cultivates awareness but also avoids the collection of negative karma that arises when treating holy objects with disrespect.
Handmade from red silk brocade with traditional motifs, this Tibetan table cover can be laid on a puja table as a base on which to respectfully place Dharma texts or ritual items such as a
vajra and bell,
rice container or
damaru. With a cotton lining for extra durability, it can also be used as an altar cloth to protect a shrine's surface from damage.

Beautiful Cover for the AltarReview by Marcus
-
Very glad I brought this as it has definitely brightened and enriched my altar. When I got this, it was a perfect altar cover to place the statue of Vajrayogini as well as the other Dharmic items especially since my altar is a computer desk that I have changed. It's a lovely cover with very beautiful design I recommend spiritual aspirants of Tibetan Buddhism or Buddhism in general to have this Tibetan Buddha cover as it definitely enriches and beautifies one's altar and to place their spiritual/Dharmic items especially ritual items.
