- Singing Bowl Mallet, 9.8 inches
Description
Details
The sound of a singing bowl does not just depend on the material and quality of the bowl itself but also the instrument used to make the bowl sing. Hence it's essential to use the correct mallet or striker for your bowl.
This traditional felt mallet is best used with medium or large singing bowls. As the head of this mallet is relatively soft, it's also suitable for taller and deeper singing bowls. Felt mallets are used for striking and are known to produce good rhythms and resonant sounds. They bring out the deepest tone from your singing bowl and when struck correctly, they produce a rich, pleasing sound.

Directions for Use
- Hold the bowl on the flat of your palm. If it's too heavy, place it on a singing bowl ring cushion.
- Using the felt mallet, strike the singing bowl at the rim from the side.
- Do not strike too far down or from above as the bowl will not vibrate properly.
- The harder you strike, the louder and more powerful the tone.
- Do not strike too hard as the sound will become metallic and unpleasant.
