Known as Yangchenma in Tibetan, Saraswati is widely regarded as the patron deity of the arts, music, language, literature and poetry. Her practice is said to increase creativity, artistic and musical talents, intellectual abilities, and ultimately help you develop mastery of your mind. She is highly recommended for students as well as anyone engaged in creative endeavours - architects, writers, artists, performers and designers.
With one face and two arms, Saraswati holds a vina, a stringed musical instrument and sits on a lotus, symbolising her enlightened nature. She is widely regarded to be an emanation of Tara, the consort of the Wisdom Buddha Manjushri and the peaceful form of the Dharma Protector Palden Lhamo.
This Saraswati statue can be personalised with traditional mantra insertion or brocade clothing such as a Tibetan-style tule and pangden. You can also offer semi-precious stones & pearls, as H.E. Tsem Rinpoche always encouraged the practice of making offerings to the Three Jewels, which creates the causes for us to attain the six paramitas (perfections).
Get a complimentary set of Herbal Rilbus for every statue you invite.
