This miniature thangka depicts Dorje Shugden in his peaceful form, surrounded by his four emanations and his faithful minister, Kache Marpo. Featuring a high quality giclée canvas print and mounted on a rich brocade frame, it is well-suited for a travel altar or compact workplace shrine.

This unique image was inspired by a thangka that originally belonged to H.E. Geshe Tsultim Gyeltsen, who was one of H.E. Tsem Rinpoche's teachers. Duldzin Dorje Shugden (centre)

Dorje Shugden is an emanation of the Buddha of Wisdom, Manjushri, and is the special protector of the 600-year-old Gelugpa lineage founded by Lama Tsongkhapa. He is known to be extremely effective in providing protection and swift assistance to overcome worldly and spiritual obstacles.

He brandishes a sword in his right hand, cutting away our ignorance and negative states of mind which form the basis of all our suffering. In his left hand, he holds a heart jewel that symbolises the legendary wish-fulfilling jewel that can grant us whatever we desire, and our deepest innermost wish – Enlightenment.

Dorje Shugden brings success, kindness and peace to all who invoke his blessings. His practice is most efficacious due to his affinity with us, and many have testified to his swift and benevolent power as a healer, a provider of spiritual and material opportunities, a defender from negative elements and a source of bliss and harmony in the home.

This emanation of Manjushri grants improved concentration, clarity of mind and increased wisdom to those who propitiate him. Also known as a wealth Buddha, his practice will bring sincere devotees vast merits and material resources for virtuous activities.

Gyenze/Ratna Shugden (top left)

This "increase" form of Dorje Shugden is revered for his ability to increase lifespan, material resources, merit, spiritual realisations, and all that is good.

Wangze/Pema Shugden (top right)

This "controlling" form of Dorje Shugden is revered for his ability to bring about peace of mind and help tame very negative minds, people and situations for virtuous reasons.

Shize/Vairocana Shugden (bottom left)

This "pacifying" form of Dorje Shugden is revered for his ability to purify negative karma, pacify natural disasters and calamities, and is especially efficacious for overcoming illness and disease.

Trakze/Karma Shugden (bottom right)

This most wrathful and fiercest form of Dorje Shugden is revered for his ability to bestow protection from harm, spirits and black magic, and to overcome the most difficult obstacles and powerful delusions.

Kache Marpo (bottom centre)

This main "assistant" of Dorje Shugden is an emanation of Hayagriva, the wrathful form of Chenrezig. He assists sincere practitioners along the spiritual path by subduing their inner and outer obstacles.
