About the Book

Steps to Achieving Happiness Through Acts of Love, Compassion, Kindness, Tolerance and Forgiveness

Peace begins here, right where we are. Far from being a distant concept, inner and outer peace can be created at every moment, in every conversation, and with our every action.

In this compilation of short teachings, Tsem Rinpoche brings us back to the basics of what it means to create peace and lasting harmony within ourselves and with the people around us. He reveals surprising truths, offers us refreshing new perspectives, and gives us practical solutions for dealing with daily situations.

With this book, you will gain the tools to increase the happiness in your life and overcome the hurdles. You will also learn how to foster strong, joyous relationships with others, fight your demons, and enhance your own positive potential in everything you do. Ultimately, you will discover that, just like the book you are now holding, peace is entirely in your hands.

About the Author: H.E. Tsem Rinpoche

SIX STARS - a life changing bookReview by sook
Oh my goodness, I could not put down my kindle because my eyes were caught up with ‘Peace’ written by Tsem Rinpoche. This book fits people of all walks of life, especially those who are interested in personal development or relationship wise. It is a ‘bible’ for me that I have read it for three times, and I still pick it up in my dark times. Apart from the e-Peace, I got another three copies, giving away to friends.

It beautifully explained what, why and how to bring love, harmony and greater understanding into our daily lives, families and society as a whole. Departing from the classical way in explaining the teaching of Buddha, the author acknowledges women’s position along with their contribution in the society mainly from Buddhism point of view. It offers practical tips in harmonising your relationship with your partner. All provided tips are doable. They are not about buying statues, chanting mantras, neither doing meditation nor saying a prayer. The positive impacts of practising these tips have on our lives are huge. I could not agree more.

The second thing that struck me most about this book is how to create inner peace and share with others through breaking our habitual energy, rather than ranting, upset with people, finger-pointing or clinging to attachments.

In sum, this is a book well-crafted in non-classical way in telling us how we can integrate love, harmony and greater understanding in creating lasting inner peace. There isn’t a wishy-washy book, but is packed with funny and interesting examples which lead to lots of light bulb moments, lifting up your spirit. (Reviewed on 12/12/2015)
