- Mongolian-Style Tea Bowl, 3.4 inches
Description
Details
According to an old Mongolian saying, “A person without a cup is the same as a person without a mouth.” The nomadic people of Mongolia each had their own cup or bowl and would only eat food and drink tea out of it. Traditionally, a hand turned wooden bowl made from birch or maple, with silver mount and beaten silver lining, was used.
Inspired by such traditional bowls, this Mongolian-style tea bowl is trimmed with antique-finished white metal and is a suitable vessel for offering tea to the Gurus or the Dharma Protectors on your altar or shrine.
