Details

A simple white metal bumpa featuring an antique finish and Tibetan motifs on the spout, base and rim. Also known as a ritual vase, it is typically used during Vajrayana Buddhist rituals including prayer ceremonies such as the rabney consecration ceremony, purification rituals such as trüsol and chabtrü, and tantric empowerments and initiations.

The bumpa usually holds blessed water mixed with saffron and other ritual substances such as chagyu bumze or lamey bumze - depending on the type of ritual being performed. Includes a traditional Tibetan brass mirror and bumpa flourish made from peacock feathers and brocade.
