Mantra Rolls (Lotus), Set of 10

In the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, statues, stupas and other objects of worship are inserted with hand-rolled mantras, relics, holy objects, Buddha images and many other items in a process called "zungzhu". This enhances and multiplies the blessings and merits accumulated by the practitioner, as every action is performed in relations to a multitude of holy objects instead of just one.

Hand rolled from traditional printed mantras according to Tibetan Buddhist customs, each 'lotus' mantra roll in this set of 10 can be placed in the lotus base of Buddha statues, and kept in place with incense, herbal rilbus or other suitable substances.

These miniature mantra rolls are intended for insertion into small Buddha statues. Do check prior to purchase if they will fit your intended statue.

Directions for Use

1. Open the lotus base of the statue.
2. Wipe it down with saffron water mixed with appropriate ritual substances and allow to air dry.
3. Purify the interior with incense.
4. Insert the mantra rolls into the lotus base of the Buddha statue, along with other traditional substances such as holy rilbus, sacred relics, incense, Protector Knot and Protector Rice. Ensure that the mantra rolls are in the correct orientation, with the markings in the correct orientation.
5. Ideally, a consecration ritual is performed after the mantra insertion process is completed.
