Description
Details
Tibetan Buddhists traditionally use reliquaries to carry sacred objects close to their heart, such as an image of the owner's personal deity wrapped in silk cloth. Similarly, this miniature gau locket can be filled with holy items and blessed objects, to bring the blessings and protection of the Buddhas wherever you go.
Buddha Manjushri brandishes a sword in his right hand, cutting away our ignorance and negative states of mind which form the basis of all our suffering. In his left hand is a magnificent blue lotus flower, on which rests the Great Wisdom Sutra.
Images of Manjushri are commonly found in libraries and study rooms in monasteries. Wearing his image will be very beneficial for students, for those in the education and communication industries, for young children, and for anyone who seeks greater wisdom. With him close to you, understanding, improved memory, better communication skills, and the development of your mind are just a step away.
