"May I gain freedom from karma, delusion, and karmic maras
To be able to live in the world unaffected by its stains
Like an unstained lotus grows in the mud,
And like the sun and moon shine without obstruction in the sky."
- Excerpt from the King of Prayers
Get this simple yet elegant small incense burner to add a modern zen-like feel to your personal shrine or altar. Made from metal and shaped after the lotus fruit, this addition to your prayer space is a good reminder of how we should strive to gain freedom from our defilements and ultimately achieve a pure state of mind, just like how a beautiful lotus springs forth from the mud.
The top is covered with ventilation openings so that the incense burner can be used covered or open, and the removable lid allows for easy access and cleaning. The lid is further accented with a miniature lotus fruit handle.
Suitable for stick, loose, powder and coil incense.

- Partially fill a new incense burner with ash or sand.
- Light your favourite incense stick and place it horizontally on the bed of ash.
- Sprinkle a small quantity of loose or powder incense over the lit incense stick.
