Directions For Use

Gaden Khenpa, Protector Rice & Incense Sticks

1. Partially fill an incense burner with ash or sand.
2. Light one or more incense sticks and place it horizontally on the bed of ash.
3. Gradually sprinkle some Ganden Khenpa over the lit incense stick so that it begins to smoulder. At this point, you can recite the Incense Offering Prayer to Dorje Shugden composed by H.E. Serkong Dorje Chang if you like.
4. Place a grain of Protector Rice on the hottest part of the smouldering Ganden Khenpa so that it begins to burn.
5. While holding the incense burner carefully, walk around the premises to be cleansed ensuring that the incense smoke fills all corners of the space.
6. Chant Dorje Shugden's mantra OM BENZA WIKI BITANA SOHA throughout Step 5, visualising that Dorje Shugden fills your home, office or place of business with bright yellow light symbolising his protection and blessings. You can also visualise negativities being dispelled from your premises in the form of black smoke.
7. Add more grains of Protector Rice as needed so that it continues burning throughout the incense offering ritual.
8. More Ganden Khenpa can be added from time to time to generate more fragrant smoke.

Safety Tips

• Remove the ash build-up regularly to ensure the burning incense does not come into close proximity with the lid of the burner, thus preventing heat damage.
• Always burn incense in moderate quantities to prevent overheating.

Blessed Fire Puja Ashes

• Sprinkle around the garden, backyard or exterior of your premises.
• Place a small amount indoors at the four corners.
• You can also wear in a locket or insert into statues and stupas.

Dorje Shugden Sungkor

• Hang over the front door to protect the entrance and to bless everyone who passes below.
• Mount in any room (except the bathroom) to improve the energy in that space.
• Place on the altar or in your prayer space.
• Keep in a clean, dry and high place.

Dorje Shugden Protector String

• Wear around your neck or wrist for protection.
• Keep in your bag, purse or wallet, or in the car.
• In serious situations, you can burn the knotted part of the Protector String during Step 4 of the Dorje Shugden incense ritual, to enhance the power and effectiveness of the space clearing.

Dorje Shugden Wood Tsa Tsa

• Place on the dashboard of your car for protection and safe journeys on the road.
• Place on the altar or in your prayer space.
• Place in any room (except the kitchen/bathroom) to improve the energy in that space.

Blessed House Chakra

• Hang over the front door to protect the entrance and to bless everyone who passes below.
• Mount in any room (except the bathroom) to improve the energy in that space.
• Place on the altar or in your prayer space.
• Keep in a clean, dry and high place.
