A brass statue of Namkar Barzin featuring a copper finish and full iconographic detail according to traditional scriptural sources. He is revered by many for his ability to calm disturbances, hostilities, violence and crime, and promote peace, harmony, prosperity and growth. As such, his image is traditionally placed over entrances to homes and businesses to guard the property and wealth of those who have faith in him.
As with all Dharma Protectors, Namkar Barzin also brings swift assistance for life's daily challenges and helps overcome inner obstacles such as anger, attachment and ignorance.
Namkar Barzin is a worldly Dharma Protector who was placed in Dorje Shugden’s entourage by the Mahasiddha H.E. Domo Geshe Rinpoche, who is an emanation of Lama Tsongkhapa. He has a wrathful form with three eyes and teeth gnawing his lower lip. He holds a sword in his right hand, a skull cup in his left, wears the robes of an ordained monk and rides on the mythical qilin.
This Namkar Barzin statue can be personalised with traditional mantra insertion or a hand-painted face, using real gold dust. You can also offer pearls and semi-precious stones, as H.E. Tsem Rinpoche always encourages the practice of making offerings to the Three Jewels, which creates the causes for us to attain the six paramitas (perfections).
