- Five Elements Incense Sticks: Fire
Description
Details
Tibetan Medicine is based on the fundamental principle that the body is composed of the five elements of Earth, Fire, Water, Wind (Air), and Space. When our five elements are in balance, we will have a healthy body, speech and mind. However, when any one of our elements goes out of balance - whether in excess, deficient or unstable, it affects the other elements and results in physical, mental and emotional ailments. Thus, the relationship and balance between the elements of our body is crucial for overall wellness and health
In particular, the function of the Fire Element is to control and regulate body temperature, provide maturation of the body tissue and organs, generate heat throughout the body, provide colour of skin or complexion, eyes, and contribute to the growth and development of the body. It is also related to Amitabha, one of the 5 Dhyani Buddhas.
Our Fire Element Incense Sticks are based on a traditional Tibetan formulation to restore balance to the fire element of the body. It is used to heal and clear blockages of the Throat Chakra (located at the throat). It is also helpful for meditation, for cleansing and purifying the environment of unwanted energies, and to aid relaxation and stress-relief.
Originally prepared under the auspices of the eminent healing lama, H.E. Gangchen Rinpoche, these artisanal Tibetan incense sticks are traditionally hand-rolled from natural ingredients such as aromatic herbs, woods, flowers, barks and resins from the pristine Himalayan region. They release a spicy herbal aroma when burnt.
Non-toxic and contain no narcotic or habit-forming ingredients. Environmentally-friendly and completely safe for inhalation. For the best experience, burn in a Tibetan-style incense burner.
