Making offerings is an essential part of Tibetan Buddhism. According to Buddhist belief, the offering of any pure and precious substance to the Buddhas helps us collect merits, gain spiritual attainments, and creates the causes to attain a Buddha’s body — one that is healthy, pleasant and possesses charisma that leads others to the Dharma.
This is why Buddhists are traditionally encouraged to offer the best within their ability and means. In the case of offering vessels, better materials such as gold, silver or copper are preferred to vessels made of glass, ceramic or plastic.
Generate greater merits by making offerings with this handcrafted copper offering plate, featuring a brass-trimmed rim and delicate Tibetan-style carvings. Suitable for making offerings of food, fruit, tsog and many other items.

This plate is well made and beautiful. It has a nice hefty base and steep enough edge to keep everything on. It does not hurt to polish with the wrist despite all the intricate details. (Reviewed on 6/22/2023)

Beautiful way to make offerings Review by Marcus

As part of our daily sadhana, we are encouraged to make daily offerings to the Three Jewels, our Guru, Yidam and Dharmapala to assist in purifying our negative karma and to generate vast amounts of merit to help with our spiritual practice so to have this copper offering plate (even though I brought this by accident), is fantastic in helping me to make offerings to the Three Jewels.
