Energy healing practitioners employ singing bowls to balance out-of-harmony chakras and re-energise the auric field. When used as part of sound therapy, singing bowls not only heal but can also help with pain management. From a Buddhist perspective, singing bowls represent the offering of sound, which creates the causes to be able to listen to the Dharma in this and future lives.
The best singing bowls are traditionally made from seven different types of metals - gold, silver, copper, iron, tin, mercury and lead. These hand-beaten singing bowls are made from the same seven-metal alloy and feature an antique finish. Highly responsive and easy to play for beginners, they produce a long-lasting resonance and a deep, rich and enduring sound that calms the mind and uplifts the spirit.
This set of chakra singing bowls comprises of seven hand-beaten bowls, each tuned to a specific note on the music scale. Each bowl is associated with a specific chakra or energy centre on our body, making them particularly suitable for energy healing, singing bowl therapy and sound meditation.

Comes with an 8-inch suede-wrapped wooden ringing stick and a 10-inch felt mallet.
Directions for Use
Rimming Method- Hold the bowl on the flat of your palm. Ensure that your palm does not mute the bowl or prevent it from vibrating freely.
- Applying even pressure, rub the ringing stick clockwise around the rim of the bowl.
- Experiment with the wood and suede surfaces, the speed of moving the ringing stick, the angle of contact and the amount of pressure until you are satisfied with the tone and volume.
- It is important to apply even pressure using your arm instead of your wrist.
Striking Method
- Hold the bowl on the flat of your palm or place it on a singing bowl ring cushion. Ensure that your palm does not mute the bowl or prevent it from vibrating freely.
- Using either the felt mallet or the wood/suede surface of the ringing stick, strike the singing bowl at the rim from the side.
- Do not strike too far down or from above as the bowl will not vibrate properly.
- The harder you strike, the louder and more powerful the tone.
- Do not strike too hard as the sound will become metallic and unpleasant.
