This Tibetan-style mala (prayer beads or Buddhist rosary) is handmade from 108 polished Bodhi Root beads - green in colour from the 1st to 21st positions and white from the 22nd to 54th positions. A 925 sterling silver bead engraved with the mantra of Dorje Shugden in Tibetan script "OM BENZA WIKI BITANA SOHA" marks the halfway point, and an adjustable macrame knot completes the design.

Bodhi Root refers to the nut of Buri palm, a sturdy tree that is synonymous with rebirth as every part of it is used to make a variety of items. In the Buddhist context, Bodhi refers to the enlightened mind, a state that we all have the potential to achieve through spiritual practice.

This exclusive mala has been blessed by the Dharma Protector of Kechara during trance in the monastery. As trances are a very rare occasion even in the monasteries, so are the items blessed by the Protector.

Our blessed malas are highly sought after as they are imbued with the Dharma Protector’s energies, blessings and presence. As such, when you use a blessed mala, it unlocks your karmic potential and opens the seeds of Enlightenment in your mindstream, enabling you to realise the full benefit of your practices and achieve attainments swiftly.

Blessed malas can be worn around the neck or wrist for a continuous supply of positive energy and protection from harm and spirit disturbances. The mala can be placed on the head of an individual disturbed by negative energies for blessings and protection. The blessed mala can also be placed on the head of a dying person to help the person pass on peacefully.

A very nice MalaReview by Lex
This is my third purchase of mala from Vajrasecrets. They just have the best mala ever! This is the best mala I have bought from Vajrasecrets. The beads are slightly smaller in size than the Wu Tai Shan mala beads but it is just so beautifully made!!! And I just can’t stop looking and indulging at it!!! Hmmm...hmmmm... I just love it so much. (Reviewed on 4/30/2021)
My Blessed MalaReview by Judy Monteith
This mala is so special to me. I thought about it for awhile before ordering it because it was a reach on my finances. However, I love it and am so glad I have it. I wear it every day. It is light on my neck and the contact and meaning of the beads is awesome. I use it for meditation as well. It is blessed and I feel blessed as well. (Reviewed on 8/25/2020)
