Originally prepared under the auspices of the eminent healing lama, H.E. Gangchen Rinpoche, these Sandalwood Incense Sticks can be burned to purify negative energies and uplift any room. The aromatic scent is said to promote awareness and transformation of desire, has known anti-depressant properties and is highly sought after for its meditative qualities.

Sandalwood is also known for its calming, balancing and healing properties and has been used since ancient times in traditional Ayurvedic and herbal medicine.

Incense is often used to purify what has been offered on the altar. Buddhists also offer incense to create the causes to have morality, ethics and hold one's vows well. Hence, it is strongly encouraged to offer the best incense (and by extension, the best offerings) that one can afford.

Directions for Use

• Light the incense stick and place it horizontally on the bed of ash in an incense burner
• A small quantity of powder incense may also be sprinkled over the lit incense stick
• Always burn incense in moderate quantities to prevent overheating
• Never leave unattended
