White Tara, known for her compassion, is also known as The Wish-fulfilling Wheel, or Cintachakra. She sits in the meditative posture and she has eyes of watchful compassion on her forehead, the palms of her hands and the soles of her feet. Her right hand is in the mudra (gesture) of unconditional giving while her left hand holds a blue utpala flower.
Often praised as the Mother of All Buddhas, White Tara is white and radiant as the moon. Supremely peaceful and meditative, she shines with the bliss of purity which heals and blesses us, and averts great danger. In this way, White Tara bestows practitioners with long life, healing and serenity.
