In her full form, Dukkar is one of the most complex deities in the Tibetan Buddhist pantheon. White in colour, she appears with 1000 faces, 1000 hands and 1000 legs. In her simpler form, she is shown with one face and two eyes. Her left hand holds the handle of a parasol unfurled above; in her right hand, with her arm outstretched, is a Dharma Wheel.
Dukkar’s mantra grants powerful protection from over 60 classes of spirits. It is said she fortifies our body so strongly that spirits literally cannot invade. Dukkar is very healing and helps to strengthen the body against physical problems. Particularly effective for purifying the karma for being wrongly accused in arguments or legal cases, Dukkar also benefits those who travel often and who are exposed to risks and dangers daily.
